Shipping, Returns & Damage
We ship within 24 hours Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Orders over $300 or HAZMAT orders may take up to 48 hours to ship. If we cannot ship within these times, we will contact you using the information you have provided.
49 CFR Compliance
It is our policy to ship in compliance with USDOT (United States Department of Transportation) 49 CFR regulations. Canada also adheres to these regulations and we comply for Canadian orders. Most of our chemical products are considered hazardous materials (HAZMAT) according to these regulations and must be shipped in two different categories: ORM-D and HAZMAT. ORM-D commodities are consumer limited quantities of a regulated product that require no paperwork but do require stickers notifying of their status as ORM-D commodities. These products include our sodium chlorite solution (WPS1), calcium hypochlorite powder (WPS2), hydrochloric acid solution, and citric acid solution. Although not required, all Canadian shipments will include the UN numbers for the products on the electronic invoice transmitted for Canadian Customs. HAZMAT commodities require specific designations as to the nature of the product, the category or class it is shipping in, HAZMAT paperwork, and chemical tracking numbers for emergencies. We have only one product that ships as a HAZMAT product at all times and that is our sodium chlorite flakes. Other ORM-D products become HAZMAT products when shipped by air. Both our ORM-D and HAZMAT products ship via UPS Ground service in the continental US or UPS Standard service to Canada. We ship some ORM-D products to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico but none internationally except to Canada. Contact us by email or phone for rates to Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico.
Domestic Shipping Only
(includes the continental US and CANADA but not Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico)
Shipping method will be at our discretion and, as noted above, in compliance with 49 CFR regulations. Orders that include sodium chorite solutions (WPS1), calcium hypochlorite powder (WPS2), hydrochloric acid, citric acid solution, or sodium chlorite flakes CANNOT be shipped to PO Boxes. All other products may be shipped to PO boxes or internationally. Canadian customers will be responsible for all brokerage fees and Customs duties or fees for the full purchase price of the items ordered. If possible larger Canadian orders can be shipped as separate shipments in order to keep the Customs reportable amount under $200 thus reducing brokerage fees.
We can ship ocean water, diatomaceous earth, bentonite clay, empty bottles, CDS generation kits, graduated cylinders, gas masks, DMSO, test strips, and oral syringes to Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. Call or email to make arrangements.

It is the sole responsibility of the customer to insure that the address to which their order is shipped will accept the order. If the shipment is rejected for ANY reason, the customer will be responsible for both the original shipping and the return shipping. Free shipping does NOT apply under these circumstances.
Any delivery problems arising from the address provided by the customer are the sole responsibility of the customer. Any fees incurred will also be the responsibility of the customer and will be paid for by the customer. Please do not send to an address where the delivery may be refused. If the shipment is rejected for ANY reason, the customer will be responsible for both the original shipping and the return shipping. Free shipping does NOT apply under these circumstances.
Some ORM-D products can qualify for expedited shipping but they become HAZMAT products then and require extra fees. Call or email for details or to make arrangements.
Canadian Flat Rate Shipping
The following chart is our flat rates for Canada:
UPS Standard to Canada
Canada Customs requires Canadian recipients to pay applicable duties and taxes on each shipment entering Canada. These charges may include PST, GST, HST, duties and other taxes of goods (e.g., excise tax). A brokerage fee is also charged to process shipments and present the requisite customs paperwork to Canada Customs on the importer's behalf.
Your order will be shipped under UPS's e-Tailer Brokerage Program (eBP), where eligible shipments imported into Canada for non-commercial purposes and valued under CAD $200 shipped via UPS Standard service are subject to a reduced brokerage fee of CAD $10, plus any applicable duties and taxes. Shipments valued at CAD $200 and above and/or being imported to Canada for commercial purposes and/or subject to specialized clearance may incur additional fees.
Please, be aware that UPS will request payment of these charges at the time of delivery. You have the ability to call UPS ahead of time (1-800-742-5877) to pay these charges, eliminating the need for payment on delivery.
UPS will contact all Canadian customers who have a package coming into Canada in order to arrange for permission for brokerage to bring the order across the border. If UPS brokerage cannot make contact with the customer the package will be returned to WPS4sale and the customer will be responsible for all shipping charges both initial and return. Once these have been paid a refund will be issued for the remainder of what the customer originally paid.
For orders over $200, we will contact the customer to confirm acknowledgement of the fact that brokerage fees and customs fees will need to be paid by the customer. If we are not able to confirm the customer understands these rules the order will be cancelled and a refund issued.
Canadian customers who refuse a package or fail to pay the applicable brokerage fees and customs fees will be responsible for return shipping costs, return brokerages fees, and return customs fees. Only after these fees are paid will any refund be issued for the remaining purchase price.
WPS4sale does not offer international shipping outside of Canada.
We do not accept returns on any of the products governed by 49 CFR rules once the customer has taken possession of the products. We will replace defective products but we cannot accept returns for any reason. We cannot be responsible for delays caused by the shipping companies, whether it be because of weather conditions or human error. If a package is damaged during shipment, we will replace your order, and deal with the shipper for a refund.
Customers who refuse to accept a package or have a package returned once it has shipped but before they take possession of the package will be responsible for the original shipping costs plus any return shipping costs. Free shipping does NOT apply under these circumstances.
Please inspect your package immediately to determine whether there has been any damage or leakage. Report any damaged goods within 48 hours of receipt of your goods.
We will not accept claims for damages that have not been timely reported within 72 hours of your receiving them.
